Over 40 NEW Fragrances for our Wax Scent-D-Mints!

We've added over 40 new fragrance selections for our 1 oz Wax Scent-D-Mints! These are all non-blended fragrances with a shipping TAT (turn-around-time) of 1 week :-)

Wax Scent-D-Mints - Non-Blended Scents - 1 oz Wax Melts (TAT 1 week)

We love our 1 oz melts because they are in convenient containers that allow our customers to easily experiment with creating their own unique fragrance blends for wax melts. We like to cut each 1 oz melt into 4 pieces and then use 1/4 of one fragrance and melt with 1/4 of another fragrance.

How To Create Unique Wax Blends Using KCherie' 1 oz Wax Scent-D-Mints

Our 1 oz Wax Scent-D-Mints are a great way for our customers to create their own amazing, unique blends! It's so easy! And, with our 1 oz melts, it's also very affordable for you to own many of our wonderful wax melts in so many different scents - the options for blending are almost infinite.

And, we've just recently added over 40 *NEW* fragrance options to our 1 oz melts. Stay tuned as we add even more selections.

So, let's get started... This is what you will need:

The wax melts that you would like to blend (For this example, we are going to blend 1/8 Lavender Flowers with 1/4 Birthday Cake)
Small paring knife
Piece of wax paper or freezer paper

Choose the wax melts that you would like to blend and determine how much (1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 of an ounce) of each.

Remove the 1 oz melt from its container and place it on your wax paper or freezer paper. Cut the wax melt in half and then cut each of those halves into 2 pieces. This will give you 4 pieces that are approximately 1/4 oz each.

In this example, we've gone a bit further and cut several of the 1/4 pieces into 1/8 pieces.

Look how easy it is to put the cut pieces back into the container for storing!

Now, this is what we've chosen to melt - 1/4 Birthday Cake with 1/8 Lavender Flowers.

Why is FRAGRANCE So Important? Can a Fragrance Really CHANGE Your Mood?

As I am working on trialing new fragrances for wax melts, I thought about how different fragrances tend to make me feel.

This morning is cool and I would have rather just stayed covered up in my nice warm bed with my blanket pulled up to my eyeballs LOL! But, since I have so many things that I'm excitedly working on, that is just not a possibility. So this morning, when I was looking thru my wax melts and deciding what fragrance will be filling the air, I chose an energetic, fresh, citrus one that makes me feel cheerful, warm and ready to tackle the day. Why did I chose that fragrance - because that's how I wanted to feel.

So, just why is it that fragrances can change our moods? And how cool is it that a fragrance can be so powerful!

Well, I found answers to my questions in several places online this morning. First, from HelloMagazine: "It seems that the sense of smell hooks straight into the emotions, triggering strong, immediate reactions, and scents can have a more evocative effect than sounds and images."

And then I read on Amibus that: "Smell is the most sensitive of the senses. As infants, smell is the first sense to develop. Our noses have as many as six million odor detecting cells."

Lavender can help you sleep.
Pine can alleviate stress.
Fresh-cut grass can make you more joyful.
Citrus can help you feel more energized.
Vanilla can elevate your mood.

I'll be posting more about fragrances and scents! This topic is just so fascinating (especially for all of us wax enthusiasts).

Testing Vanilla Wax Melt - Love This ONE!

So excited to come to the shop this morning! We have lots of great things planned for 2018 and I just can't wait to get started.
